What you will be doing | Ngā whāinga matua
Working as part of our experienced Science Team, you’ll help deliver our domestic research programme, shape scientific priorities and coordinate projects focused on reducing agricultural greenhouse gas emissions. This is an opportunity to contribute your ideas, build strong sector connections and see your work create meaningful on-farm impact.

What you will bring | Ngā tino pūkenga me ngā wheako
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant post-graduate tertiary qualification (PhD, master’s degree or post-graduate diploma).
- A minimum of 2- years’ experience post-graduation, in a relevant scientific discipline working either in agricultural greenhouse gas emissions research or the agricultural sector with a strong interest and knowledge of agricultural emissions and their mitigation.

The Ag Emissions Centre is New Zealand's centre for agricultural emissions research.
The Ag Emissions Centre shapes funds and manages a national research and development portfolio, builds research capability and infrastructure, and connects researchers, government, industry and international partners to support agricultural emissions reduction solutions.
The Ag Emissions Centre is hosted by the Bioeconomy Science Institute Maiangi Taiao, and our people are employees of the Bioeconomy Science Institute. The Bioeconomy Science Institute is a Crown Research Institute, owned by the New Zealand Government and governed by an independent Board of Directors, formed through the merger of AgResearch, Plant & Food Research, Manaaki Whenua, and Scion.
